- Don met Barry on a gig
they did together in Jamaica, Queens New York. They instantly
clicked the moment they met. His personality is to say the least
comical and amusing. His unique style of playing the bass has
become a Tradition to many bassist all over the world. As the
years progressed musically for Barry, he played and wrote for
drummer Lenny White for 3 years. But playing the bass is not
all Barry can do. Barry is one heck of a vocalist, as well as
a writer. Barry's vocals can be heard on one of Kenny G's biggest
hits "Hi How Ya doin?" Barry has played, toured , and/or
recorded with such famous artists as ROBERT PALMER, LUTHER VANDROSS, MAVIS STAPLES, B.B.
KING, BILLY PAUL, MARY J. BLIDGE, TEDDY PENDERGRASS, STEPHANIE
MILLS, JENNIFER HOLIDAY, AND JEFFREY OSBORNE.
